How do you make busy commuters stop and care about premature babies by donating to a charity they’ve never heard of?
We could have rattled a bucket. We could have generated a poster that tugged at the heartstrings. But compassion fatigue and the 08:12 to Oxford are tough competitors. So we created an experiential event.
Enlist the help of staff who care for premature babies and parents who have benefitted from the care the Winnicott Foundation provide.
Sprinkle liberally with enthusiastic, some would say ruthless, members of DDB Remedy.
The result? Double the revenue usually collected at similar events in this location and four times the amount raised by Winnicott in previous initiatives.
